Mitrix Appoints Surendra Reddy as Vice President of Engineering
Leader in On-Demand Supply Chain Management Continues Industry Momentum with Expanded Focus on Product Development

IRVINE, Calif. – July 17, 2007 – Mitrix, Inc., a premier on-demand supply chain management (SCM) technology provider, today announced the appointment of Surendra Reddy as vice president of engineering. In this role, Mr. Reddy will be responsible for the design and engineering of customer solutions, and will lead the implementation of solutions being sold.  

Mr. Reddy has more than 18 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, telecom, systems integration and IT services, and brings a unique combination of strategic, operating and technical management expertise to Mitrix.

Prior to Mitrix, Mr. Reddy founded and launched a data center automation technology company, Optena, where he served as chief technology officer (CTO) and was responsible for technology strategy and execution. Prior to Optena, Mr. Reddy was director of engineering at Oracle Corporation, where he oversaw their flagship database product. Additionally, he has held various technical and management positions at Sonata (India), ITC (India) and AT&T Bell Labs. Mr. Reddy holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India, and is currently pursuing an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
